Doing Your Share

Part of the secret of a group like PADA is that people are asked to volunteer a small number of hours each month. We are an arts collective. So we encourage each member to help out on one or more of our committees or jobs – helping to plan a gallery show, doing a lecture on a skill you have, researching a local shooting location for the group. If we each share our skills for a few hours a month, we all gain the rewards.

For example, members of the Exhibition Committee organized a PADA group show at a pop-up gallery at Crafted in San Pedro, California. The committee members arranged for use of the space, put out a call for art, and then collected and hung the art.
